About Absurd Bird
Have you heard of the Absurd Bird, conferred with a foodie nerd or overheard of it being referred? The distinctly monikered eatery serving up Deep South inspired cuisine has some mouthwatering grub that’s likely to linger as long in the memory as its memorable name. With a predictable focus on chicken dishes, including intimidatingly stacked chicken burgers to it’s ‘xtreem’ hot wings, Absurd Bird has also developed a clucking good rep for its creative cocktails and indulgent desserts. Split across two levels, this funky Shoreditch hideout prides itself on its American-style portion control as well its squawking great atmosphere and raucous bottomless brunches. There’s even vegan sliders and meatless burgers so the veggies and vegans can get in on the fun too. Nab some great savings at the Absurd Bird today with Dines.

Great friendly staff decent food and interesting drinks. Overpriced in my opinion. The staff need to take the time to understand the food a bit better. My drink was a little too dilute and the sauce blend could have been more interesting. Dont be afraid to take risks!

Really good fresh food. Had buffalo chicken wings and a buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings. All were delicious. Onions rings are homemade, and while the chicken sandwich was amazing, I couldn't taste the buffalo sauce, and it seemed to have way more bread then chicken. Blue cheese is £1 extra and doesn't come with the wings, which was odd since that's usually the norm. Service was good, and food was served quick. Cured my cravings for the taste for buffalo wings, would certainly go back again for the wings and onion rings, and try the chicken and waffles.

Food was good and wait staff were incredible and fun, but disappointed that the manager rudely asked us to leave for being there longer than 1.5 hours even though we were still ordering drinks and snacks. He stated "We needed to make room for other patrons" despite our bill coming up to £50 between two people. Plenty of better restaurants nearby under better management.

Went here with my team from work because of the range of vegan dishes as well as meat due to there being a mix of tastes within the team... I would say 4 out of 9 of us were vegetarian/vegan. After everyone had ordered the waitress said that there was no vegan chicken at all on the menu and they where already bringing out people's meals at that point so we had no choice but to stay. We ordered alternative food that we didn't even want and to be honest it wasn't that nice - The sweet potato fries were the best part (!)
