About Aline Lebanese Kitchen

For a restaurant steeped in authentic Lebanese flavour look no further than Aline Lebanese Kitchen in Mayfair. This is about as close as you’ll get to true Lebanese favourites shaped from generations of family food traditions without shipping yourself off to the Levant! Named after the owner’s mother, Aline, the restaurant has been delighting diners with its achingly authentic food that is crafted from specially imported ingredients all the way from Lebanon itself. Everything from the perennial favourites like hummus and falafel to the off-the-beaten track dishes like pumpkin kibbeh and sea bass tagine are all prepared the true Lebanese way using the most authentic Lebanese ingredients. Authentic is certainly the word for what Aline offers but how about modern, trendy and cosy too? This is an eatery that’s got its taste buds in the past but its eyes firmly set on the future with its contemporary stylings inside and its carefully considered homely ambience. With gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options peppered throughout the menu, this hip joint has a flair for contemporary tastes as much as its focus on tradition. The place is very cozy and clean. The food tasted amazing and the staff explained dishes very clearly (when asked). Great place if you prefer multiple smaller dishes to share. The bread and hummus was lovely and very well prepared. Highly recommend (especially for lunch).

I was thinking the Australian-Lebanese is the best but here in Aline, mezes are like directly from Beirut. Grills are perfectly cooked and everything is super fresh. If you are bored with western food and try something authentic, here is definitely worth a try. I would also like to thank the staff for their friendly service. We will definitely come back Aline, see you soon.

Great range of Lebanese dishes in a pleasant venue. Quality was good and staff were attentive and friendly. Would say it represents good value for money considering the location. Would happily return.

Food was great and we enjoyed the Lebanese wine. Restaurant had a nice vibe, is not a large place. We went on a Friday night when the place was fully booked. Waiting staff rushed about whilst we had a relaxed and fun time.
