Excellent short menu well executed. I had a large sirloin steak with truffle mustard and possibly the tastiest salad called Alex. Fantastic wine cellar. Great way to start off the week. Will return.

I have been here three times, and enjoyed it tremendously on each occasion. Terrific steaks and fresh fish. Very friendly waiters and beautiful art. The outside terrace has a fake rhinoceros statue, adding colour to the city. And the wine cellars is a wow.

Well worth a visit. Ask to see the wine cellar and choose your wine from there - you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is tucked away (even more so by the construction going on at Timber Street) but does offer some very nice views of the Thames (from the right seats), a good place for talking, and high quality South African steaks. The sommelier is very knowledgeable about wine, and those featured from Jordan are all very good, esp. the Reds. It is reasonable rather than exceptional value among steak biased places in the City, convenient if you have a train from Blackfriars and time on your hands.
