Popped in for a quick drink with some colleagues who had booked to dine. 'Happy Hour' seemed to consist solely of a cheesey smile from the painfully slow barman and certainly not reflected in the prices. Do check the prices as I paid full price for a happy hour cocktail. The restaurant even has the audacity to charge service on top of already elevated prices. There were only two groups dining at the busiest time of the year. Poor 'sepia' lighting, quiet with no buzz.

The place looks good. However, if you're looking to have dinner then you'd better go elsewhere. When my partner and I went on a Friday night it was quite busy but absolutely nobody having any food. We placed our orders and waited nearly an hour and a half for a piece of lamb and ratatouile to arrive. I understand lamb takes a while but the waiting time was way too much. When we complained to the waitress she stuck her nose up and was pretty rude. However, the manager was ok enough. We paid for our drinks and left. This place is only good for drinks.

Such a great atmosphere, especially when they have live music. The prices are a bit steep, but it's worth it. The lunch meal deal is really good, would definitely recommend

I wanted to give no stars , but it won’t allow it. Most appallingly rude and unprofessional service I’ve ever come across. How they’re in the restaurant business is beyond me. I had booked online a month ago to have dinner at the restaurant with friends last Friday and had received the booking confirmation by email. I arrived at the restaurant for our dinner reservation, no friendly greeting just the restaurant manager carrying on with sorting out a bunch of hangers as he looks at me then says yes ? Incredulous at this ‘greeting’ I say , I have a dinner booking. To which he replies curtly ‘ how did you make that booking?’ I proceed to tell him it was booked online . He says well that’s a mistake you didn’t call to confirm and we have a private function tonight . Since when is the customer supposed to call and confirm a booking?? Particularly when your booking system confirms the booking by email . No apology from him whatsoever . Instead he says well, I can book you in to our other restaurant around the corner Kilykya. What nerve ! What on earth would make him think I’d spend money at any of their establishments after receiving such bewilderingly rude service from him. Needless to say, I will never return to try Jazzgir.
