About Premises Bistro

Please note: Premises Bistro only accepts Dines from 6pm. If you’re partial to a bit of star spotting with your food then The Premises in Shoreditch could be just your tune! Starting out as a cafe attached to a recording studio, the top notch eats here are so good that they’re now more famous for laying down a stonking grill than a backing track. With a varied menu that mixes Turkish and Latin American favourites along with traditional English breakfasts to die for, it’s no wonder this Hackney Road institution has been a favourite of everyone from Fearne Cotton to the Arctic Monkeys.

Great service and the food is always out so quickly. Mostly I’m happy with the fry up but have had some really good lunch options. Simple food done well. I love the decor too, Moroccan lamps and a wall of artists who have used the studio.

What a place. Really warm environment, nice touches and able to fit loads of people in despite size. Staff incredibly helpful welcoming and friendly. Good value food. Got the vegetarian breakfast but would love to try the Turkish meze.

Super food, really friendly service, great atmosphere. Was staying nearby and found the place while wandering along Hackney Road looking for somewhere to get dinner. Enjoyed it so much I went back for breakfast the next two mornings - had the best omelette I've ever eaten! Go try it out.

What a breakfast.. If you're around there give it a go, definitely not your regular cafe, everything I've ever had there was made fresh, and always tasted awsome. The applle pie, has to be the best I've had in a while, warm creamy custard on top, impossible to not lead this place happy.

So not sure everyone knows but this place was a music studio with a cafe in the front. Now basically it's a cafe with a studio in the back. The food is great. We went with the soup of the day which was really delicious and went down like heaven on a rainy week-end day. Atmosphere is really cosy and the walls are plastered with signed band posters. Glad we made a stop here. The service and food/drinks are really good!
