First time at Sichuan Folk and I can say that we made the right choice to go there! Lots of choices even though I couldn't eat meat (lots of veggies options and seafood). Quantities are generous and the service is really good. Would def go back there! Thank you!

Ordered mapo-tofu lunch set. It wasn't spicy (but tingling) as they use Sichuan pepper instead of chili. Though it is one of the easiest dishes to make, they couldn't get it right. They put too much oil and sauce in (All you can taste/feel is its saltiness and tingling sensation from Sichuan peppers. There was not much flavour either!). Can't complain at this price (£7.5) but I think you wouldn't mind paying a bit more to get tasty Chinese food elsewhere. (Chinese food is not that expensive anyway!) The place was quite dirty and the service wasn't good either.

MY husband and me come to the restaurant a few weeks and have been back every weekend since. We really enjoy the food, signature dumpling and squid and the boneless chicken was my favorite . the staff are very friendly. The best Chinese restaurant in the area. Would high recommend.

A Sichuan restaurant with very good food. I ate hot pot with mixed soup, half spicy and half chicken soup. You cannot choose the ingredients for hot pot, you get a plate of mushrooms, greens, sheep meat and several kinds of seafood and fish. Everything was very good and fresh. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful.
