About Terra Rossa

Hailing all the way from the heel of Italy’s boot, Terra Rossa in Islington is an Italian restaurant like no other! With its flavours emanating all the way from southern Italy and a self-professed dedication to flavours of Puglia to London. And this deeply authentic eatery has certainly achieved it! The menu may play host to all the usual suspects of stonebaked pizza, homemade pasta, steaks and an array of starters and desserts, but it’s in the loving execution and expertise that Terra Rossa really sets itself apart. Freshly prepared mains evoke the best that Italy has to offer while genuine dishes from the Salento region offer up the sort of dishes that don’t tend to see at other Italian joints. Please note, all bills through Dines are subject to a 12.5% service charge.

This is a very nice Italian restaurant, the food is freshly made and tastes fantastic! Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff that were great to chat with and helpful, they make you feel welcome the second you enter. There is a lot of choice on their menu with some seasonal specials. I had the truffle pizza, which was very nice. They also have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options (they have a gluten free menu). We went in the evening and and were glad we had made reservations, it was quite busy so I'd advise you call ahead to make a reservation.

Authentic and excellent food from the South of Italy (Puglia region). Being Italian, I can definitely tell you that this is the right place if you want to try the real tasty Italian food. In addition, the restaurant is lovely and very nicely designed. The staff is extremely gentle and quick! The perfect Italian night!!

I loved the food, it my home food. Flavours are genuinely good, exactly as expected. The place is nice, no pressure, relaxed. The service is slow, but if this is the price to pay for delicious food then it's kinda of ok. The wine list is what makes me give 4 and not 5: it's boring and expensive. I'll go back though, the food is what it's there for.

My favourite of favourite Italian restaurants. I've never tried food like this before. I'm dreaming about the octopus ragu. It's worth getting a selection of starters to really get the full impact. Next time I go, I plan on sampling the wines. They've got a massive selection and so far I've only been at lunch time and not wanting to try at lunch. Planning a dinner there now. It'll be a great after work dinner place. Very chilled.

Amazing service and superb quality of ingredients! A must-go-to place for delicious dishes from the Puglia region. This is already my second time here. The design of the interiors and artwork are also really cool and they stands out in the area.
