This restaurant is authentic and a proper curry house, the food is fantastic! I can’t recommend it highly enough, particularly the value for such a central location. The recommendations by the waiter were spot on and the naan bread was spectacular, best I’ve had in London. Perfect for business, friends, parties or date nights.

Very tasty meal and a good experience. The staff warmed to us and gave us a brilliant experience. Fantastic food, I will definitely be coming back. Very reasonably priced and when a small mistake of an extra rice turned up on our table it was quickly rectified and given to us for free while we waited briefly for the right one. Incredibly nice staff. Noor tried his learned spanish with my mexican guests and we all had a great time. The after math.

The service wasn't very nice, and it took a very long time to get the food. The portion sizes are very small and overpriced in my opinion. Additionally got the orders wrong multiple times which was a bit of a let down

I went there with my wife and kid on 30th May 2019 with the hope of having some nice Indian food. However, my experience was extremely bad - not only for food, but also on the staff attitude. One thing is for sure that though being an Indian restaurant, they are racists towards Indians. We were made to sit at a secluded place next to the washroom. AC was not on and it was claustrophobic. I requested to turn on the AC to which the reply was - "We have other guests inside (next to the bar) and so we cannot on the AC." After repeated requests they switched on the AC. Now coming to food - the waiter had a grumpy look on his face as if he was doing us a favour by taking our order. Nevertheless, we ordered one paneer tikka and a drink. After around 25 mins the food came. Waiter just kept the plate on the table (with a bang) and left without uttering a word. Here too - felt as if we were provided food as a favour. Paneer tikka was not at all grilled with no taste at all. Our mood was already off with their attitude and food after a long tiring day sightseeing places. We asked for the bill. On receiving the bill was surprised that they even charged us for chutney (which ideally should be part of the starter). However, we were not keen on any kind of interaction with the staff and we just paid and went. This is to let the management know that everyone should be treated with respect and care - more so when you are in a service industry. Your staff attitude was really demeaning. Just a smile sometimes is good enough. Have went to so many Indian restaurants in London and Scotland but this was a total disaster - be it in terms of food or the hospitality extended. We went to Dishoom from there which was top of the knotch. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Went here for a curry, don't let the outside fool you it seems like a tiny restaurant but they lead you down some stairs where it opens up. The curry was very nice and staff was friendly, they did try to rush us and tried to push starters and recommendations on us even when we had made our minds up on what to eat. I would go back.
