A lovely meal at High Timer where the food is excellent. Personally I had the cod which was very tasty but most in our party had steak which I was told was delicious. We dined outside on a glorious summers evening and watched the full moon pass the Shard. Starters was smoked salmon and the desert was a superb malva pudding. There is a wide choice of food to suit your taste but if you prefer the taste of South Africa you will not be disappointed. The wine cellar has a large selection of wines and the ambience of the restaurant is subtle African. A very nice night out in the heart of the city with superb views along the Thames.

A very good quality place to experience some South African cuisine's. It is a bit pricy but then again it is in London! The food tastes amazing and presentation was great. Would recommend the Malva Pudding.
They do reservations and if not too busy then you might not need to book.

Very nice steak and chips. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Cool location too.

Lovely location and ambience, great place for meat eaters.  Sole veggie main course was very disappointing -  pasta lacking flavour, texture  and any kind of sauce - very uninspiring.  But the meat eaters were in raptures.  And excellent wines.  So I personally wouldn't return, but I would recommend to non veggie friends.
