LOVE ❤️ THIS BAR!!! It’s been nearly a year since I spent the entire evening here! But, I still think about it often; it was a fantastic evening!
Such a magical place!!
The atmosphere, the vibe, the bartenders, the music! It was PERFECT!!!

Very interesting place! A bar/cafe in an old prison house. You can actually enjoy a drink in pine of the cells. The common area is lovely too.

Lovely bar with a great range of drinks and brilliant vibe! Visited on a Sunday evening so it was fairly empty but I've been told Saturday nights are rammed! I saw board games too which is always a plus in a pub/bar!

Perfect place for a delightful Sunday roast and a drink. Visited for lunch while we were in the vicinity and it was an overall good experience. The staff were fantastic and the food wasn't that bad. The roast was accompanied by a range of sides and was priced very reasonably. Not to mention, a meal here gets you free entry to the westgate so there's a real plus for visiting this restaurant.

Visited recently for the first time with some friends who were visiting for a night out. (As such I'm not going to mention food) As a student it's one of those bars that you'd rarely go to because most students go out to escape the reality of their crippling debts, cue Wetherspoons, but here you're not only paying for drinks, but you're also paying for the atmosphere and service from the clearly attractive bar staff. 
As a former police station and gaol, The Pound also offers some interesting places to sit, including the old jail cells which are perfectly sized for groups of 6-10 (with a squeeze) and offer a more intimate area to chat.
